Affiliate

If you're interested in affiliating with Jadedneo, please read this page first. I have a strict set of guidelines I follow in terms of who I will and will not affiliate with. If you're sure that you meet the guidelines, then all you have to do is add one of the affiliate buttons to your page. Once you've added it, contact me with the request.

Steps #1: Read the guidelines below to see if you qualify to add me as an affiliate.
Steps #2: If you meet the guidelines, add a button to your website.
Steps #3: After you add a button to your website, fill out the form at the bottom of this page to request affiliation.

Guidelines

• When adding my affiliate button to your page, it must be added to an area that's visible on every page. I expect the same courtesy I offer to others. Since your site button would be visible on every page on this site, the same has to be offered in return.


• I will not accept sites with illegal or overly graphic material. This includes, but isn't limited to, pornography, illegally hosted music or other files, copyright infringement, etc. I may add to this list as time goes on.


• Your site must be updated regularly. A week vacation here or there is understandable. A site that is sitting dead and has been collecing cyberdust for a few months is not.


• Your site must be presentable. I understand some people are just starting out in the design department, and everyone has to start somewhere. While I often affiliate with some just getting started, if your layout is .. well ... painful for visitors to view, has millions of mismatched flashing colors or is otherwise an eyesore, I won't accept. However, feel free to request again once you've improved things a little and it's not a hazard to visitor's eyesight.


• I will only accept Neopet related websites, since this section of The Toybox (Jadedneo) is dedicated to only Neopets content.


• Ads are the way of the internet ... every site uses them. We all want to be reimbursed for what we spend on server fees, so I don't discriminate against any site for using ads. However, clicksor ads are a nuisance and I will not accept affiliation requests with sites that are using this feature. Also, while moderate ads are understandable, 10 popups at page enter are not.


• It goes without saying ... virus, spyware and adware free only.


• I will accept sites that do not have a domain .. such as freewebs hosted sites. However, if accepted, and your site has a bad habit of exceeding bandwidth limits and going down, you'll be removed. Helpful hint .. if your site gets that busy, it's time to invest in a server. ;)
